North Beach is San Francisco’s Italian-American neighborhood, and one of my favorites. Our very own Little Italy complete with a compact, cosmopolitan and very European feel. One of my favorite shops in North beach is Pelote , and is very European, indeed. Pelote imports beautiful, colorful fine fabrics from Basque and the southwest of France and stitches up some of the prettiest kitchen linens around. Their beautifully, chic striped aprons and dish towels are almost too pretty to use, and brighten up any kitchen decor
