Amy Rice and Terrence Payne

last month my friend susan alerted me to a pretty cool project taking place within the historic alcoa house in minnesota. minneapolis artists amy rice and terrence payne decided, in collaboration with sotheby’s real estate group, to create a join exhibition within the alcoa home called nest . amy and terrence translated their work from 2d form into three dimensional objects like furniture to outfit the living space within the home. the goal is to create a live-able art installation that allows viewers to move through the home and experience the artists’ work first-hand.
